Keeney Design has extensive experience developing Building Area Analyses for commercial properties, having completed analyses for over 50 buildings in the Denver area. The format used is usually the current BOMA “Standard Method for Measuring Floor Area in Office Buildings. We can develop an area analysis based on field verification of building dimensions, or from a client-provided CAD database of existing conditions.
Ronald Keeney, president of Keeney Design, gave a presentation at a monthly BOMA membership luncheon summarizing the BOMA area calculation guidelines and explaining various aspects of the process and how it impacts area calculations over the life of a building.
