History & Philosophy
Founded in 1984 by Ron Keeney, the primary focus of our company is providing landlords, tenants, property managers and leasing agents with architectural services to improve and maintain commercial properties. We are licensed architects and interior designers with membership in BOMA, AIA and NCIDQ.
Services
SPACE PLANNING
Keeney Design has developed space plans for over 20-million square feet of office space. Most of our work is in the Denver metro area, but we have also completed projects in San Francisco, San Mateo, Livermore, Phoenix, Houston, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York and other cities.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Keeney Design has worked with hundreds of clients on design projects to develop office space, retail stores, banks, restaurants and special use facilities that include layout, finishes, lighting, furniture, art and signage.
LOBBY & COMMON AREA REMODEL DESIGN
Keeney Design has completed over 50 lobby and exterior design projects in commercial office buildings to upgrade the properties and enhance leasing and tenant retention.
EXTERIOR BUILDING RENOVATION
Keeney Design provides a full range of architectural services for exterior building renovation projects. Some of the projects we have completed include adding an enclosed walkway between the office building and parking garage at Prentice Point, a full exterior building upgrade at 1050 Walnut, and the total gut and renovation of the office building at 575 Logan. All of our design work is based on an understanding of the financial parameters that drive the project and our in- depth knowledge of what tenants are looking for when deciding to lease space, based on over 20-million square feet of project experience.
SIGNAGE & BUILDING IDENTITY DESIGN
Keeney Design has developed signage design programs and building identity/logo design projects for a variety of property managers, asset managers and landlords to create new energy and property recognition in support of the leasing effort.
BOMA BUILDING AREA ANALYSIS
Keeney Design has completed BOMA building area analyses for over 50 metro Denver buildings.
CAD DATABASE DEVELOPMENT & CAD RENDERINGS
Keeney Design can field measure anything from a single suite to an entire building and develop a CAD drawing database for your project. Our knowledge of architectural details and BOMA area calculation parameters allow us to efficiently measure a building with accuracy. We have the capability to develop the full range of building plans, as well as 3-D renderings for both presentation and design analysis.
ADA ANALYSIS
Keeney Design has developed ADA Compliance Reports for over 50 buildings in the metro Denver area since the enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act in January 1992.
