575 Logan Renovation

575 Logan Renovation

Keeney Design purchased a building in 2007 and renovated it for their architecture and interior design company offices.  When we purchased this 100-year-old building, it was a gutted shell, but its low price and location at the southwest corner of 6th Avenue and Logan Street with on-site parking were attractive. Improvements included excavating for high-ceiling lower level office space, exposing high-ceiling space on the main level with skylights, new windows, doors, stucco, stairs, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and lighting, and all interior construction.

The site, at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Logan Street in Denver, has a high traffic count and good visibility.  Our company logo has appeared on architectural drawings for over 40 million square feet of projects over the past 30 years, and over 3,000 clients have come to recognize it, so we wanted to feature our company identity prominently at the corner.  We designed a sign as an 8-foot tall aluminum pylon, painted white, with cut out metal letters painted in our corporate colors, sitting on an aluminum base, painted gray.  The sign sits in landscaping and is surrounded by dark gray river rock with stone edging.  The sign is illuminated with ground lights on both faces.
